Staff did not speak much English but were polite and helpful. Only European style breakfast available. Historical building in the middle of very pretty little village. Great place to enjoy quiet nights, cycling, walking.

NetherlandsThe staff were excellent along with the dinner and breakfast we had. The dinner was excellent and highly recconend- portion sizes were huge. The location was cool along with staying in the castle was unique. Beds were very comfortable and would stay here again.

Very quiet in November and we were the only ones there glad I was with my family as middle of no where with just a key to let ourselves in. Would be amazing in the Summer and have a Xmas market. Breakfast in restaurant opposite good and can get meals Wednesday/ Sunday. Lady on reception and restaurant really lovely and spoke perfect English . All in all a bonkers experience! Xx

Every Thursday is a Burger day, when you can get burgers as well. Friendly and helpful staff, nice and quiet location. Next time I try to come on Thursday again...

You climb a spiral staircase to get to your room,which was quite large.The breakfast was very good,a varied selection,including boiled eggs. The restaurant was in a separate building for breakfasts, and any other meals you wanted. All the ladies who worked there were lovely,and some could speak good English.

Es liegt idyllisch kurz vor der Vereinigung der Freiberger und der Zwickauer Mulde bei Colditz, der Schloßstadt, im südlichen Leipziger Landkreis. Wir laden Sie herzlich ein, die vielen Möglichkeiten kennenzulernen, die das Ensemble unseres einzigartigen Objektes für romantische Genießer, Radwanderer, Wasserwanderer, Naturfreunde und Entdecker von Geschichte bietet. Unsere Gäste verleben entspannte Stunden bei Familienfeiern, Hochzeitsgesellschaften, Firmenevents oder als Tagesgäste in unseren historischen Räumlichkeiten und im großzügigen Parkgelände. Montag und Dienstag haben wir Ruhetag auf der Anlage. Der Check-in ist bis 15 Uhr möglich. Eine spätere Anreise ist natürlich möglich. Dafür hinterlegen wir Ihnen den Schlüssel in unserem Schlüsselsave, dieser ist links neben der Eingangstür zum Restaurant. Die Heimatstuben in der ersten Etage des Wasserschlosses sind seit über 20 Jahren ein Anziehungspunkt von regionaler und überregionaler Bedeutung. Die einzigartige Sammlung der Familie Manfred und Irmgard Knochenmuß umfasst Tausende von Einzelstücken der Regionalgeschichte, die in über 60 Jahren zusammengetragen wurden. Sie spiegeln das Leben und den Alltag in Colditz und Umgebung aus etwa 200 Jahren Geschichte.
Das Wasserschloss Podelwitz liegt in der Mitte von Sachsen, umgeben von Natur pur. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Fahrräder und Motorräder um die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Sachsen zu entdecken. Für unsere Biker stehen Garagen und Trockenräume zur Verfügung.
