Nice village/city at the Rhine.
Nice village/city at the Rhine. Several antique buildings worth seeing. Bad coffee at the restaurant near the Rhine (not the KD boat stand, try that one please). Enough shops and supermarkets. Free parking on Saturdays. I ate at the appartment. I stayed there for visiting friends, for site-seeing you'll only need some hours,

We used Lahnstein as a base for travelling around the area...
We used Lahnstein as a base for travelling around the area but there is also plenty to do within walking distance of this apartment. Be very wary of relying on German trains - we used DB to travel around the area as well as to get to and from the Eurostar at Brussels. Without doubt this is the worst train system I've used with packed trains (no seats even when reserved in first class), regularly delayed trains, and trains stopping several stations short of the advertised destination.
We loved the ample private space outdoors for eating dinner with our family and letting our daughter run around safely. The main bedroom has great storage and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was clean and had all the items needed to cook simple meals. The space was bright, airy, and decorated nicely. Any concerns we had were promptly addressed by the property managers. We would definitely return on our next visit to Lahnstein to see family.
I didn't like the amount of wasps, but the hotel staff did their best to get rid of them, Breakfast was good, but glasses were very small, so you have to walk back a lot.. Variety of food was good enough. The beds were good, It was nice that they provided one fan in the room, luckily we brought 2 others, otherwise it would have been way too hot. We had dinner in the hotel one time too, food was great, price was not too bad
Lovely helpful host Claudia , made special arrangements to collect keys because of our late arrival.
Home from home everything we needed in very clean apartment , with safe and free parking.
Great view from balcony of Lahnstein and mountains etc.
A friendly and helpful host. Comfortable airy rooms with lots of artworks and antiques. Very quiet on a tree lined road a couple of minutes walk to the Rhineland-Palatinate and, in the other direction, 5 minutes walk to Niederlahnstein Station.
STAY AWAY!. The hotel is in bad shape. We left shortly after check in because it is worn down, dirty and disgusting. Had to find another place to sleep.
They wont even give us our money back.!!!
WORST HOTEL EVER - STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY
Situated in a pleasant wooded landscape outside of town, the hotel is a pleasant and quiet place. The beer garden offers good variety of beers and a nice array of German food. The buffet breakfast is among the best anywhere.
I've been to this hotel many times and will continue to use it for visits to our plant. It is convenient and although its predominately used by travelling workmen I love the location and the walk in the morning to our plant.
I stayed at two properties on my trip to Lahnstein. Hotel Weiland was by far the better property. my room was spacious and the bathroom facilities were equally so. Wifi was strong, unlike my other accommodation
I enjoyed the balcony a lot. Others tennants seemed nice. the location is perfect for hikers and sight seers.
A Busride away from the beautiful city of Lahnstein and Koblenz.
Apartment was clean.
Underrated hotel, I did get the smaller room with separate private showers, but I saw the other rooms they look really really good. I would advise an upgraded room which would still be of great value.
Great location near bus and train stop. Amazing ice cream store just around the corner. There is also a play ground and a nice walking area along the river less than 5 minutes away from the Hotel.
Staff was polite and room was spacious. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the bus takes you directly to Old Town Koblenz. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.
Its a small tavern hotel on the Rhein river.. The restaurant was very good offering Balkan food.. The room was large at the attic with great parking was super..
The check in was easy and friendly. The property is of a high standard with excellent facilities and just a short beautiful walk, along the river to Lahnstein.
