Like in heaven, colorful house on a mountain with a beautiful view of the Eder valley With large terrace, five bedrooms, cozy kitchen-living room and garden, directly on the forest In wonderful natural surroundings, overlooking the Eder valley, the small yellow house is like a ray of sunshine in the sky. With a small sheltered garden overlooking the valley, fireplace, covered barbecue area and a beautiful terrace, five bedrooms and cozy kitchen-living room, it invites you to stay and relax. It offers the ideal accommodation for dreamers, writers, hikers, canoeists, skiers, individualists, just to relax and get fresh air. Also people with temporary place of work, such as assemblers, will appreciate the pleasant ambience after work.
The small town of Hatzfeld is located in the western part of Hesse north of Marburg, very close to the Sackpfeife and a well-developed ski area, the Edersee and wonderful cycling and hiking trails, in the middle of nature, in the beautiful valley of the Eder. The typical low mountain range landscape of the Upper Eder Valley, whose heights range from 325 m to elevations around 675 m, always offers charming views and numerous opportunities for various activities in all seasons. Many areas in the district are designated as landscape conservation areas and are thus largely preserved from human interference. Hiking and walking in untouched nature is still possible here. An extensive network of well-marked paths invites to walks or hikes in the beautiful landscape of the Upper Eder Valley. From the source near Lützel (near Siegen) to the mouth near Guxhagen runs, through Hatzfeld, partly over an old railroad line, the Ederradweg with a length of 168 km. In 8 km distance lies the natural area Sackpfeife, part of the Rothaargebirge, thus also the, closest skiing area.
Ski lift carousel Winterberg is located 30 km away. The It is the largest contiguous ski area north of the Main River with a selection of 21 lifts. Almost all rivers flow either directly north into the Eder or south into the Lahn, with both rivers flowing east only about four kilometers from the watershed, a paradise for canoeists. In only 10 km distance there are already several well developed golf courses. Eikaufsmöglichkeiten, such as supermarket, drugstore, butcher, craft supplies, electrical etc., banks and doctors, dentist are all within walking distance. The house is located on a mountain in approx. 500m height, near the castle ruin Hatzfeld, directly at the forest in the upper part of the small town, with a wonderful view of the Edertal. When the sun shines here in the morning, the rest of the world is still in fog. Even in winter, the house is easily accessible by car via paved roads that are always cleared early. It stands completely free in a 1100sqm2 garden plot. Ideal also for dog owners.
