Our family party had pre-booked two nights at this hotel to use as a base for exploring the Black Forest. We arrived one Friday evening and parked in the extensive, free car park at the back of the property. Check in was done in the main part of the hotel - our rooms were located in the adjoining building. We had two, spacious rooms on the first floor next to each other - they were both identically furnished with traditional, dark wood, four poster double beds and lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The separate bathroom was nicely tiled with the shower set up in the bath tub. The free WiFi worked well. We took dinner in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the culinaary experience. The breakfast buffet was also good with lots of choice including many local delicacies. Service was impeccable thoughout our stay.
