Great historical building. Old sailing boat anchored just in front of it. Wonderful friendly staff, both at check-in and for breakfast. One of the best breakfasts ever. No problem parking in front of the hotel. At the harbour and very close to old renovated downtown of Wolgast. Great dinner in nearby restaurant close to the waterfront. My family loved the young kittens in the near neighborhood.

Die Herzogstadt Wolgast, ehemalige Residenz der Herzöge zu Pommern-Wolgast, beherbergt heutzutage die Grablege der letzten Pommernherzöge in der St. Petri Kirche. Neben den Pommernherzögen prägten die Kaufmannsfamilie Homeyer und der Schiffbauingenieur Haack sowie der Maler und Romantiker Philipp Otto Runge die Stadtgeschichte. Im Sommer locken die klassischen Konzerte im Rahmen der „Wolgaster Sommermusiken“ in die St. Petri Kirche. Ganzjährig sind ca. 52 Tierarten im Tierpark Wolgast zu erleben und Schaufütterungen beizuwohnen.
