the arrangement of the rooms around the central space was friendly. It was quiet, yet very convenient to the beach and the metro. It was well furnished with interesting pictures but not ‘over the top’ . having a balcony was good although it was too cold to take advantage of when we stayed. Hendrik was very helpful and responsive to any requests.

The apartment is heautiful and comfortable. Hosts Henrik and Mei are very friendly and helpful and willingly accommodated us for an extra day as our flights had changed. Less than 5 minutes to the beach and the metro so handy for getting into Copenhagen. Lidl nearby (less than 10 minutes walk) I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Also a good idea to purchase copenhagen cards as we used them daily on the metro and seeing Copenhagen. Thank you so much, Henrik and Mei.

Perfect location just outside city center, but center easy too reach with metrostation 2 mins around the corner. The apartment had literally everything needed and more than that. Friendly host, we had a great time in Copenhagen and could relax at home in the evening. Even a simple meal is easily prepared there and stores and the beach are close by.

The house is a villa in a nice and quiet neighborhood 300 meters from the beach and still only 10 min from centre of Copenhagen by metro. The house is our home, we live downstairs and on first floor is the guesthouse flat. Nice and homy with two bedrooms, kitchen, toilet and shower and nicer, private balcony.
We have been married since 1990, work with theatre and have two grown up children. The guesthouse is our hobby and we enjoy meeting and greeting people from all over the world.
During the last 10 years Amager Strand has become one of the most popular areas to live in Copenhagen. Copenhagen Is a relatively small city and even though our guesthouse is close to the beach and with gardens and lots of fresh air - you can jump on a bike a be in the middle of the city in 15 minutes - it's also a nice walk from Amager Beach over historic Christianshavn and (if you want to) freetown Christiania - before crossing the bridge an entering beautiful Nyhavn in the old part of Copenhagen.
