“Although we only stayed for one night at Gjoel Guesthouse, for us it was memorable! We stayed in one of the caravans which was apparently more than 70 years old. It was very interesting to live in a place such as that and even though it was renovated, it still has a lot of character. Place is extremely clean, bed was very comfortable and Jesper helped us with more than what we needed. He is a great host! 😊”

“Lovely place on the country side with a friendly atmosphere! Free access to the garden, trampoline, rabbits and chickens! Only a few people can stay there at the same time, so it's perfect for kids. And you wake up to the peaceful view of the water in Limfjorden!”

The host was very nice and helpful. 25 km away from the tourist flow in Aalborg you can switch off here. We were self-catering on the way. Note: The Booking.com category room does not exist. The choice is the previously mentioned tent (incl. modern shared kitchen and shared bathroom) or the converted circus wagons.”

“It is absolutely amazing what Kirsten and Søren have created here. We didn’t expect much but a little bit of adventure, but found a really lovely place with super friendly and open hosts. The rooms are situated in circus wagons, so there is not too much space here and there. On the other hands there is lots of space outside and the view over the fields is amazing. The wagons are beautiful and comfortable, and our hosts take great care of everything. The are around Gjøl is also a very good location to go to. Near beautiful Ålborg, and easy to reach all places in northern Denmark by car within reasonable time.”
