Right on the beach. Not a sandy beach but those are rare in Dominica.

Highly recommend for long or short stay. It's 20 steps from the calm Caribbean sea, has a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. It's not at all fancy but a girl comes to clean everyday, and there is on-demand hot water, spacious rooms, and smallish lockers plus lockable big drawers in the bedside tables. The internet truly sucked my first couple of days but 3 of us complained to management and it was fixed and fast by the next day! The "check-in" staff are located at Sukie's shop a couple doors down--so friendly! Some outdoor seating (women are all downstairs--men and couples are upstairs and have a balcony) and fabulous sunset views! Short walk into town for shopping, restaurants, etc.

It has a beautiful view right on the ocean. The staff let you know of all the attractions and how to get the cheapest transportation to them and made sure every day that everyone had what they needed. The staff even went as far as to take some of them to where they needed to help get acclimated with the island to get a better idea how things work. And they didn't have to do that. Very friendly place.
