United States of AmericaThis is a family owned business and you can tell that the owners deeply care about your experience. The location is great - you won’t hear any noises or car honks, and the beach is literally 2 min walk from the property. The hotel territory is really nice and green, with lots of palms and a bar/restaurant that also serves as a reception desk. The staff is very sweet and speaks English, and the owners speak really good English, which seems rare in the DR. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony and many windows. Some of the earlier reviews mentioned lack of Wi-Fi but this has definitely been fixed — there were 3-4 different networks offering great connectivity and speed. I’ve had a much worse experience with a different hotel, so I can’t recommend this place enough. The owners, Marco and Magda, are extremely nice people and are always curious if there is anything they can do to make your stay even better.

Breakfast was awesome with a variety of choices. We enjoyed “jugo de chinola” each morning. The beach is literally 5 minutes away from this property. A couple of stores are nearby, but you can also buy something to eat in restaurants which are also super- close.
