The location was central on a walking street. Staff were friendly and both accommodating and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Fabulous high ceilings. We were in a private room with small outdoor balcony which we enjoyed.

Super easy to meet people due to the small common area. Center of downtown so walkable to sooo many places. Tours the hostel offers are cheaper than anywhere else too so I do recommend booking them here. Also note for people on 2nd floor, there are multiple floors. 4th floor has the common area. Met a group of 3 English lads who didn't know this and thought the hostel was boring so heads up haha. Don't spend 3 days alone. Go to the 4th floor.

Awesome place. Very friendly staff. And the place had a nice social vibe with people hanging out in the lobby areas. I'm also a very light sleeper, and I got great rest here as this place was the quietest place I stayed during my time in Egypt. I stayed here at the beginning of my trip and at the end of my trip I actually changed where I was going to stay the last night so that I could spend another night here.

We stayed at Holy Sheet for three nights, the hostel is centrally located downtown, really convenient to the Egyptian Museum, etc. Like the majority of buildings in downtown Cairo, the entrance to the building is very old and worn down. The hostel, however, is cozy and the staff are helpful and kind. They organized an evening boat ride for the guests, which was fun. Our room was a good size and had a small balcony. The area upstairs has a small community room which is nice to sit and do work. The star of this show, however, is Mena, one of the owners. We met him the first night there and he helped us plan a week-long itinerary throughout Egypt that fit our budget. He kept in touch with us through out our trip to make sure everything went well. He even walked us to the store our first night at the hostel. We enjoyed the hostel and we really appreciated Mena's assistance and warm personality.

The hostel is located close to Tahrir square and there are many shops and places to eat around. The crew is extremely nice and helpful, they let me leave my backpack after check out, also use facilities, so I could get some rest before heading to the airport. In general there's a great friendly atmosphere so it's really hard to leave :) only suggestion that it'd be really cool to have a small shelf or pocket by the bed to leave there phone or glasses without worrying they'll fall on the neighbor below ;)
