It's an authentic and very warm very special place. We arrived in the evening and stayed for one night to go to St. Cathrine in the morning without hurry and after a good sleep. Everything was very nice: the supper they offered for some small extra money and the breakfast which was included into the price. We slept very well because there's a heater in the room. You can take a jacket with you, but sleeping in just a T-shirt was OK because of the heater. They can organise a transfer to St. Catherine in the morning - and the driver will bring you up right to the Monastery.

The owner of the place is a very nice ans trustworthy business man. When he offers you something and gives you a price, then it will happen like that. His employee forgot to inform me about the shuttle to leave. So he took me into his car and brought me all the way to a meeting point with the bus so I could still join. He kind of keeps the machine running and has a fair system with the local bedouin guides, to get a group one after the other. The camp is super nice and in the evenings there are always camp fires. The location is just in the heart of the village.

We enjoyed our Bedouin experience and hospitality of Sheikh Mousa and his family. They helped us organised everything including hikes, food and transport. The drivers and guides they provided were probably the best we had in Egypt. The camp is gorgeous with view of the mountains and cozy with communal areas and fireplaces. The grounds are cleaned everyday, and the tea guy (Hamada!) makes the best tea. It was really nice to just hang out at the camp all day.

The owner was super friendly and did his absolute best to give us a good experience including upgrading our room for no extra cost. Lovely atmosphere and felt very genuine with the 'bedouin' experience of a fire pit in the traditional tent setting. The food was excellent - a fantastic chef who clearly loves his job. The closeness to St. Katherine's Monastery, Mount Sinai and other treks was particularly good.

The camp is located on the edge of the village and has great views of the mountains. Clean, neat rooms and very friendly staff. The food is good.

Lots of activities on offer, with a range of more and less intense walks, hikes and visits in beautiful surroundings. We were able to make the most of our 3 days, doing something every day (Mount Sinai Sunset walk, visit to St Catherine's Monastery + Bedouin Gardens, St Catherine's mountain hike). Our guides were experienced and very helpful, making detours to let us stop at a grocery shop and bakery to let us buy lunch/snacks one day, as the current building work in the valley means it was not all that possible to wander by ourselves. Do a little bit of digging on guiding prices beforehand (particularly for Mount Sinai), and you will have a great time :)

Staff were always ready to help with information and organising trips. They made everything easy. They chose walking guides who were careful, kind and trustworthy. Rooms are simple but clean and warm. Hot showers! Food is very good. Location is spectacular. Thank you everyone for a great stay.
