EgiptasThis resort is excellent! The room is very very clean (even for Europe standards), the view is astonishing and everything about our stay was very smooth. The hotel staff is very friendly, kind and helpfull. The room is spacious, it has very good A/C, minibar (even with beer), etc. The best part about our stay was one of the locals renting the faluccas down at the river inside the resort - Mahmut (he is very kind man and we loved spending time with him talking and we went on a ride with his falucca). Mahmut gifted me his galabia day after we took a ride with him, and didnt want anything in return (this is very strange for Egypt). If you read this review and decide to go to Achti, please say hi to Mahmut from Vid from Croatia.

The staff at the pool are very friendly and they never fail to impress you with their hospitality, you could always have a chat with them aswell. The receptionist there is beautiful, her name is Mariam and she always has a smile on her face, very caring and she provides top quality service :D

Located on the banks of the River Nile, Steigenberger Resort Achti is an 8-acre luxury resort set in lush tropical gardens.
All rooms and suites at the Steigenberger Resort Achti are air-conditioned and have elegant furnishings. Each room is equipped with satellite flat-screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities, a safe, minibar and hairdryer. The rooms offer views ranging from the Nile, the gardens and surrounding countryside.
The two restaurants onsite are AlKarnak restaurant and terrace serving international cuisine and Niño’s Italian restaurant serving Italian dishes and pizza. Three bars are also available, including a terrace and a poolside bar.
