Hostel
Albergue Irugoienea
Oihanilun 3, 31694 Espinal-Auzperri, Spain – Great location - show map
Two hosts from Sicily, Italy were amazing people. They were smiling and friendly, made us feel like at home. The albergue was very clean and the dinner was delicious! dessert from the grandmother’s recipe is a must try! thank you for all you did.

The hosts were fantastic and made me feel so welcome! The food they prepared was outstanding!

Incredibly friendly host from Sicily. They run an exceptional place; we were greeted warmly and could get cold beers after a 20 mile hike that day. The dorms didn’t come with sheets but we could use our sleeping bags. Check out was 9, which is unusual for most Albergue’s. So that was a bonus. The breakfast was a bit disappointing though. Would stay again in a heartbeat

From the moment I arrived, I felt I was home. The owner went out of his way to accommodate all I asked for. Definitely a must stop on my next Camino.

Property close to Camino, good signage, comfortable, good traditional meals

The Italian couple running the albuergue were lovely and gracious. The evening meal together was very nice.

Everything was really amazing, the hosts were very friendly made you feel welcome, thanks again would definitely come back Food was awesome 👌 The entertainment was great little singalong with the guitar

I stayed 17 sept 2020, so during covid times. I was a pilgrim walking the Camino Frances. There were only 4 of us i think, ended up 2 in each room. The host, Angel, was a very nice guy. Things are different because of the times, and there was only a microwave to use. I ended up arriving early and he let me in. It's a small town and only a few places to eat, but still a nice place. I would definitely choose to stay again if I was ever in the area.

Lovely place to stay off the main stopping villages worth the extra 6km had a wonderful nights sleep after a rough first day on the Camino. The hosts were a lovely couple and there dog Nemo if I remember rightly what a cutie. Would stay again.

Everything was great! The owners and the food they cooked (they're Italians😋).After dinner the owner took a guitar and sung for us and it was really nice and homely feeling. They even took my friend in, even though they were full and gave her a big mattress to sleep on the floor! The people we met there were also great and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere during the meal and after. When we were leaving the owner said goodby personally and wished us a good journey! I would come again and would recommended.
