Very clean and comfortable. About a mile past city center, just past the grocery stores and fruit store. Four ladies’ showers and one toilet (I think one was broken), so adequate showers — need at least one more toilet. Breakfast adequate but would love some fruit or proteins (eggs, beans?): packaged croissants and sweet bread, white bread, butter and jam, corn flakes, lactose-free milk and soy milk, orange juice, coffee, decaf, hot cocoa. Fun wall where everyone leaves their mark. Great owner who stops in late at night to put out the breakfast snacks and say hello.

Stayed 2 nights after finishing my Camino. Friendly staff, great kitchen/open breakfast area, clean restrooms, and individual lockers to store my pack. The locker keys will also get you through the front door anytime. Loved the cloth bed linens, comforter, and towel that was provided. Basic breakfast included.

The environment of the property was really nice and pleasure experience. This place offers bread and juices. Fully equipped kitchen was plus too. Each person gets the personal lockers without any fee. Shower booth space was enough to take a comfortable shower and change the clothes.

The Albergue SCQ was a fabulous place to stay. I arrived early and the owner said that I could keep my backpack in the front room until it was ready to accept guests. This was so kind of him to do. The owner was helpful. I saw him answer many questions and help many guests with various things. The place was clean and comfortable. It even offered free breakfast. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone going to Santiago. I also liked the board of the countries and how many people from each country has stayed there.
