Great location if you plan to visit the 3 main art museums and enjoy time in Retiro Park. Also easy access to metros and a great bakery/cafe (Harina) right next door. Felt safe walking the area at night and early morning. Appreciate that they were willing to accommodate early check in. So nice to have the extra space that the apartment provided with kitchen, sitting area, and 2 separate bedrooms. For our needs it was also very helpful to have 3 separate beds (1 full, 2 twin beds side by side). The description is clear about its basement location with partial windows. It isn't super bright but in the daytime it was sufficient. In the evening there are ample lamps and lights to make it bright enough. There was some very low road noise (cars driving by) at night but nothing problematic.
