The Alhambra is not to be missed.

The Alhambra is not to be missed. We were surprised at how many people went through the palace but not the gardens and Generalize - no one was there! The hillside setting makes Granada rich in views and foot travel. Eating along the many restaurants at the Mirador de San Nicolás is a must and Sacromonte is an easy walk from this point - don't miss it as the views are beautiful and the flamenco is fun!

Granada is an ancient city known for its gateway to the UNESCO heritage site, the Alhambra. Coupled with the oldest neighborhoods that date back to the ravages of the Spanish Inquisition and King Charles and Queen Isabella, Granada is in the brilliant sunshine soaked province of Andalucia. The city itself is dotted with beautiful cathedrals and a fairly large university. The city is a treat for walkers, especially the city center and the old town. The mountains rise all around Granada and the snow capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada are visible in mid March. A town that is well worth visiting with taxicabs that are relatively inexpensive and take credit cards.

What's not to like Granada is a beautiful city, multitude of places to eat-cafe's & restaurants, shady plazas, historic buildings, good bus service. Albaicin was our favourite part of the city. Enjoyed walk down from Sacromonte Abbey which is well worth a visit. April a good time to visit before it gets too hot. If you want to see inside Alhambra Palace book tickets well in advance

    Beautiful historic city.

Beautiful historic city. Small enough to be easily navigated on foot. Lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Great public transport network with bus journeys costing 1,40 euros. Science park definitely worth a visit- lots to see and do. Plan ahead to spend a whole day here. Huge Nevada shopping centre also a real hit with our teen daughter with loads of big retail names like Bershka, Zara, Ikea, Pull n Bear, H &M as well as a cinema and lots of restaurants. Easy journey there by tram. Alhambra is breathtaking and lots of lovely viewpoints or 'miradores' around the city to take in the impressive views.

One of the best Rooms we had in Spain, very clean and tasteful decorated. Personal was just above expectations Sara and Fanny was the best. Great location for visiting Alhambra … we had the”Alhambra view Room” worth every penny. To get in town is a bit of walking 15-20 minutes to city center (just to have in mind), but for us wasn’t a problem. After all we had a great experience in Eurostars Washington Irving hotel, I’d gladly recommend for those who are interested in culture, tranquility and class.

Just had one night in Granada and stayed here. Room we had met our expectations and was neat and clean and quiet and room size was as expected and similar to the other rooms we stayed at in Spain. Best room service prices I've ever seen, a coffee was only 1.5euro. This is nice smaller hotel but with an excellent location and lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful and I would stay here again

It’s been one week I came to Spain, and visited Barcelona, Valencia and here in Granada. This is THE BEST HOTEL BY FAR!! Senor Paco was super friendly, and he suggested various things to do in Granada. His English is really good, so I, who cannot speak Spanish, had no difficulty at all to stay here. Hotel - the Apartmentos - itself is really beautiful, well located for travelers, and so neat. I miss the hotel already.
