The house was fantastic and Elvi and Juanma were perfect hosts. They were so welcoming and waiting for us at the property very late in the evening. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need, even coffee, sugar spices for cooking etc. Thank you for the wonderful basket of fruit, a really nice surprise. The beds were really comfortable and the air conditioning worked brilliantly which was essential as the temperatures were so high. The nearby supermarket had everything including and excellent fresh meat and fish section. The local beach was only 10 minutes drive and the location was great as it was far enough away to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to the many beautiful places to visit. Lots of lovely beaches and our favorite place for a day out was Dania, well worth a visit.

The interior is marvelous, it seems that you live in the kind of spanish castle or as minimum at the territory which was belonged to aristocracy family in the past, it really leaves you speechless... The patio is an ideal place for having breakfasts, every morning and evening here you can feel a tiny smell of flowers and orange gardens around. Very hospitable hosts, which wold love to help you as much as they can, share with you lots of interesting information and tell about events in the area what can really be useful and worth to see. All I want is to say THANK YOU for your clean house and for the interior which is kind of masterpiece, for your warm hospitality and for unforgettable staying in such a beautiful place!

A unique house with a special charm CA OLIVARES is a typical Valencian house from the late 19th Century, located in the old town of L’Alqueria de la Comtessa, a peaceful village 3 kilometres away from Gandia and Oliva beaches and at the foot of the La Safor mountains. It preserves an old Valencian house quality: its wooden beams from Flanders, its high ceilings, its thick walls, the paintwork, its patio, and furniture that evoke its past.
We are Elvi and Juanma and…we love our house. It’s Elvi’s family since its building in 1898 and we have set it aside for rural tourism since 2003. Since then, we haven’t wavered in our endeavor to improve and equip it for you. We want to help you to see through it; you discover the colours, interesting spots, smells and flavors of our Mediterranean sea and the unknown paths, routes and mountains of its surrounding area. You will enjoy a peaceful comfortable cozy clean and well-equipped accommodation. We treat it with great care as it was our own house.
L’Alqueria de la Comtessa It has a small population of 1,300 inhabitants, covered with orange groves, offering tranquillity to visitors half way between the sea, 3km, and the mountain, with trails as emblematic as the Raco del Duc and La Safor, only 6km away. Being in the heart of the Valencian Community, it allows you to travel short distances, getting to other places such as Valencia and Alicante in a short time: just 45 minutes. Among the nature spots stands out its extensive fertile region, the Montanyeta de Sant Miquel and la Fonteta de Quaresma; as with its proximity to five Nature Reserves and to ecological landscapes of great importance which are described in “Its surroundings” section. L’Alqueria de la Comtessa offers all types of services: greengrocer’s, butcher’s, bakery, medical services, chemist’s, Municipal sports centre with swimming pool and “pelota” court.
