**Advertised on other sites with over 50 5☆ reviews** **From April 2020 hire our Mountain Bikes ** Set over two levels, this spacious villa boasts 4 double bedrooms two with en suite, a further family shower room, ample dining area and a fully equipped kitchen ready to provide alfresco dining in a relaxing rural setting with private pool. The main indoor living space features a large bright family room with double doors opening onto a balcony all tastefully decorated and furnished. Two very large comfortable settees and an armchair complement a matching coffee table, cabinet and TV stand upon which a sits a 50' flat screen with access to British Freeview, Netflix & Amazon Prime. The dining and kitchen area gives a spacious open plan feeling seating overlooked by a kitchen that generously comprises all major appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and hob as well as all the cutlery you will need. Perfect for alfresco dining, surrounded by mountains and looking out onto a lovely landscaped garden, the exterior of the property features a well maintained 10 x 5 metre swimming pool as it's centrepiece along with a barbecue and all the outdoor furn
My parents purchased Casa Alexandra in the summer of 2006 after falling in love with the town of Xativa on a chance holiday with some relatives. Having retired, they sold up in England and achieved the dream of living abroad for 4 amazing years. They made great friends, had marvellous weather and thoroughly enjoyed the experience until deciding to return home to see more of their 3 sons, of which I am one. I'm lucky enough now to manage Casa Alexandra with my partner Anna (we're both in the photo) and our brilliant housekeeper Debbie. We visit several Casa Alexandra several times a year and are constantly updating the villa in every area so that our guests have the very best stay possible. Casa Alexandra is located on the outskirts of one of Spain's hidden gems; the beautiful historic town of Xativa, once the capital of Valencia and the birthplace of the Borgias. The town offers an excellent choice of restaurants and cafés complemented by a variety of smart modern shops, beautiful architecture and tree lined avenues. The old town is a sight seeing delight; from the splendid cathedral and medieval castle which sits high on a mountain overlooking the town, to a local market twice weekly and a nightlife that buzzes with friendly family atmosphere on the weekends. On the doorstep of the villa there are several scenic walks with lovely mountain views meaning hiking and mountain biking are a favourite pastime for many. Bixquert tennis club with a bar and restaurant is close by as well as the towns excellent railway station which provides only a 40 minutes journey to Valencia. And if it's a beach you are after, then a 30 minute car ride takes you to the gorgeous sands of Tavernes or Gandia.
