  • Is there parking available?
    The Albaicín is a UNESCO World Heritage neighborhood, preserves its streets and typical houses. It is a neighborhood located high in the city composed of narrow cobbled streets. This keeps the Albaicin as a mostly pedestrian neighborhood. Therefore it is NOT POSSIBLE to get to our accommodation in private CAR, access is restricted to residents. The nearest parking is the San Agustin car park, it is located next to the cathedral, costs between € 20-25 a day and is 10mns walk to Bellavista. If you want to find free parking in the surroundings you can go to "Antigua Carretera Murcia", from "Mirador San Cristóbal" to "Callejón Tallacarne" look for a parking place. From there Bellavista is a 20 minute walk downhill. You can also approach by taxi and indicating the place of collection. In this case, ask the driver to take you to "Calle San Juan de los Reyes, 81", and from there you only have to go down a few stairs to number 17 of Gloria Street.   Greetings from Granada   The Bellavista team

  • Is the property suitable for someone with limited mobility. I can can climb steps to a limited degree. Are there many steps to get to the apartment?
    Hi Unfortunately, our accommodation is not optimal for people with reduced mobility. To get to our building you have to go down or up a small slope with several steps. The area in which we are, the Albayzin, is an old area of the city that is always on a slope and whose streets are not asphalt, but cobbled.

The Albaicin is the oldest area of Granada, a city with more than 1000 years of history spanning many of the most important historical eras in Europe and North Africa. The result is a stunning and unique mix of architectures and cultures not seen anywhere else in Spain or Europe. Granada benefits greatly from being situated amongst some of the peninsula’s top holiday destinations but unlike some of the resorts on the south coast, remains untouched by mass tourism and over development which can spoil the natural beauty and authenticity of a place.

The Bellavista Apartments are a mix of comfort and Andalucian authenticity. You’ll find a mix of high quality facilities, comfort, easy access, privacy and a friendly welcome with the added privilege of renting in the most attractive area of the city, just a stone’s throw from all the best that Granada has to offer. All the apartments consist of two bedrooms with an en suite bathroom, plus a kitchen, private terrace with stunning views of the Alhambra Palace, Sacromonte and the city centre, thanks to its slightly elevated position compared to the surrounding buildings. The apartments are perfect for families, friendship groups or travellers who don’t wish to miss out on experiencing all that this wonderful district can offer: a great location very close to the centre and also within walking distance of the Alhambra Palace, the traditional Granada carmenes (houses around a patio garden) Arabic baths and Miradores (view points).

Thanks to a strong neighbourly vibe in the Albaicin district, travellers will not feel like they are being fed the tourist package. The peaceful nature of walking along pedestrianized cobbled streets, passing the fountains and alijbes (historical underground water storage) and stopping for a drink at one of the bustling local bars, all come together to make your stay in Granada an experience you will wish to repeat. The city never lets you go … a phrase heard time and time again by those who pass through this beautiful place.
