The house is spacious with an open salon-kitchen area with a high ceiling. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor: one has a comfortable double bed overlooking the terrasse and the other one has two uncomfortable single beds (mattresses should be changed). On the second floor, there is a room with a double bed and bathroom.
The hosts are friendly and helpful. The TV was not showing well and we asked to fix it. The next day they brought us a new smart TV. We were pleasantly surprised.

You get what you pay for. There are special items what guests can like - comfortable bathtub, huge sort of cosmetics, huge kitchen, and patio. The Papi lays on the edge of the village - close to the volcano hiking paths. Hosts are very discrete, not visible.

Lajares is a town between El Cottil and Corralejo. You go here for coffee and to the store. It is a city in which a lot of construction is going on and it is losing its charm because of this. Too many people!

Quiet relaxing place to recharge and use as a base for exploring the island. there are some authentic Spanish restaurant's and some great cafes. There isnt a night life kind of place but somewhere to enjoy your days and relax. You need a car here, its easy to get around and plenty of supermarkets. The beaches are unspoilt, no sunbeds but there are alot of nudists about. No shops near the beaches so take a picnic. Lajares itself doesn’t have a lot to offer.
Lajares itself doesn’t have a lot to offer. Need to use the car all the time. It is better to stay in El Cotillo. Unless you want to be close to the specific beaches. I would not recommend more than 2-3 days there. If in the area go to “Panaceta”, great bakery in Lajares.AlicjaPoland - 10Scored 10
The people here are very kind and welcoming.
The people here are very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you see lots of surfers. After a surfing trip, Lajares is the perfect location to get some really good food. Don't worry if you are not a surfer. You can run, hike and bike here, too. You can also take a hike and visit a nearby volcano. In total, this is the perfect spot if you want to visit Fuerteventura. You have lots of houses to choose from and Corralejo is only a 15min ride away. El Cotillo, a surfer's paradise, is also just 15min away.HaraldAustria - 10Scored 10

Because Lajares is not on the coast, it did not feel as “touristy” as the coastal villages and towns. However there are still plenty of places to eat (although you have to note the inevitable ‘one night a week closed’ for each restaurant and plan accordingly,) Good bakeries, a handy supermarket, everything within walking distance. Many lovely walks can be started from Lajares. La Bodega restaurant is a cut above the rest. If you did not have a car, bus service Correlejo to El Cotillo is very frequent. There is only one bicycle hire shop but sadly they do not have many bikes (that was our only disappointment)

Front and back garden plus rooftop terrace let you enjoy the sun all day long. The house itself has everything you need for a nice stay. It's very quiet at night and the comfortable bed let you enjoy a good night sleep. Check in and check out were really easy. His position is perfect for explore the main isla spots in the north/west/east coast like Corralejo, Cotillo, Majanicho and much more. The room was comfortable with his private bathroom and the kitchen was shared and was the best place to meet people.The week hype was a barbecue with Francesco, Manuela and their friends, but the house star was Oliver, their son. If we will come back in Fuerte, Da Mate will be only choice for us!

I felt at home from the first moment. There is a large coworking area outside in front of the pool and big shared spaces where you can hang out with other guests. Strongly recommended for solo travelers! Alessandro is such an amazing guy, super chill and helpful. The location in Lajares is perfect, close to the bus stop, supermarket, cafes, and restaurants.

The hostel is super clean and well maintained. The outside area is beautiful, with a swimming pool and barbecue area with an astonishing view to a volcano. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to rest and enjoy the nature of the island.
