We travelled by plane, car, camper and caravan and with Cortijo La Zapatera all our best experiences comes together at our bed and breakfast for you to enjoy! If there is something that defines Cortijo La Zapatera then it is the value of experiences and hospitality our guests take home. The key to our hospitality is our open, intuitive service to ensure that our guests have the best memories of their time spent with us. When you stay with us, you’re not just staying anywhere, you’re staying somewhere! In 2003 this beautiful cortijo was built next to the original farm house. This little farm house, the casita, is the original 'casa de campo' dating from 1915. It was hand built of stone by the grandfather of the first owners and was their home during harvests.

Cortijo La Zapatera is a luxurious boutique Bed & Breakfast, a home away from home. This typical Spanish house is spacious with comfortable, luxury rooms and a beautiful swimming pool. The gardens have various courtyards, terraces and water features. The Andalusian interior is a mix of Spanish and Moroccan styles. The estate has its own vineyard and hundreds of olive and almond trees. A little gem with first-class service with an eye for detail. Cortijo La Zapatera is set in a secluded, very peaceful and private country hillside, located along a quiet, country track only 20 minutes of the lovely white village of Canillas de Aceituno and of the sea. The Cortijo has three luxury double rooms, a single room and two apartments. All rooms have private bathrooms. From the Cortijo you have a beautiful view on La Maroma, the highest mountain in the area.

Our B&B is the perfect starting point to explore and discover beautiful Andalusia. We are located between Málaga and the Sierra Nevada in the Axarquía region, just 20 minutes from the sea. You can enjoy the beautiful cities of Málaga, Seville, Córdoba and Granada but also all the lovely white villages in the area. There are a lot of hiking possibilities directly from the B&B. You can play golf, kayak, swim, enjoy the beach, visit museums, markets, cultural festivals or religious celebrations. You will be surprised what this region has to offer!
