It was simply amazing. The pool was lovely, the terrace of my room as well. The room cleaning was excellent. Breakfast included a wide variety of food, and the staff was amazingly professional, polite and smiley. The hotel is located very close to the beaches (2 min walk), and I would definitely recommend the place if you need relax.

This is a special hotel in so many ways. At El Coto they really do care about their guests and all staff are friendly, charming and helpful. The entire establishment is geared around guests' needs and the staff and owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This is an international hotel and all staff are multi lingual. I was greeted by Jurgen on reception after a long journey and he was so welcoming and charming. Kasia in the Bistro looked after me so well and they catered to my rather special dietary needs without any hesitation. There are little touches that the owners have given that make me inclined to rate this hotel as better than many high end five star establishments. Thank you El Coto for a wonderful stay.

The junior suite (queen/king bed plus pull-out) had two full bathrooms, which was such a fantastic feature. Staff members were very accommodating. Loved the grounds, the pool area, the breakfast, the dinner, and the hotel's proximity to the Es Trenc beach.

Just 350 feet from the beach, Hotel El Coto is located in Colònia de Sant Jordi, in the south of Mallorca. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

There were some small issues such as the airco not functioning in the room upon arrival and slow service at the pool bar. One evening we ordered a bottle of rosé, which was served warm. At first we were treated as very fussy, complaining customers when we pointed this out and were left with no wine at all for twenty minutes. In the end it turned out that there was a problem with the fridge where all the rosé bottles were kept and that all wine there was at 14 degrees as a result. We ordered white wine instead, which was very good, but I thought the way the staff and the sommelier handled the issue was very poor and not all what I would expect at such an establishment.
Small, personal hotel with nice rooms and a wonderful, large pool in a nice setting. The halfboard option is good value for money with excellent food.

Not much to dislike in this nice hotel, but as in so many other places guests seem to get up at dawn to claim sun loungers with towels (and then leave them there all day even if they leave the pool area , which is a practice I find irritating. Service at dinner could be more attentive since we got our starters before even getting our aperitifs one evening, which should not happen in such an establishment.
