Our 'paradise on earth' is a quiet and beautiful place in a green valley where you hear birds and the refreshing sound of the river Pereilas. David offers Hatha yoga classes and Birgit will be happy to help you discovering your creative skills! We offer only vegan food to order in advance. Also non vegans are very welcome, but we hope everybody respects our lifestyle and it isn't aloud to bring and cook animal products on our terrain. In Coín you can find restaurants where you can eat whatever you like. In the surrounding there are lots of beautiful tracking paths and we have our own entrance to the river. It is lovely and refreshing in the summer to walk through the river. Coín is just 30 min walking, the coast and Marbella 30 min, Málaga 40 min and Ronda about 1 hour drive.

We are David and Birgit. David is British and lives already for 19 years in Andalusia. He is an engineer and yoga teacher. Birgit is Dutch and lives in Andalusia for 8 years. She is an artist and art teacher. As a guest you can enjoy yoga- or painting classes. We met in Spain and we are both vegan. We would like to share this lifestyle with guests and we are happy to cook homemade delicious healthy vegan meals. We aren't chefs but David makes wonderful curry's and Birgit likes to experiment and cooks all kinds of meals.

The guesthouse is located just outside the village of Coín in a green valley next to a flowing river in a picturesque mountainous area. Above our place is the 'ermita', a chapel, where the 'romería' takes place every May. Coín is an authentic Andalusian town, where you can find several cafes, restaurants and shops and from the guesthouse it is a nice walk of about 30 minutes to the center. On Sunday mornings there is a nice market with regional products, such as vegetables, fruit, olives, cheeses, but also clothing and other items. There are many beautiful walking trails in the area, Mijas and Monda are beautiful white villages to visit and the Costa del Sol, including the fashionable Marbella and the luxury marina Puerto Banus and several beautiful beaches, is only a 30 minute drive away . The cultural city of Málaga is about 40 minutes away and don't forget the beautiful mountain town of Ronda, with the famous bridge over a deep gorge, about 1 hour and 15 minutes from our guesthouse. There are many sights and activities within reach, but the great thing about our place is that you can always return to oasis of peace and you do not have to leave to enjoy!
