The location overlooking the Plaza Mayor is wonderful, central and accessible to the best sites to visit on a short stay in Madrid. The rooftop terrace is the number one selling point of this apartment. It is a spacious and comfortable space (2 chairs, small table, and 2 reclining chairs) overlooking the Plaza Mayor from the top floor, perfect for dinner at sunset and morning coffee with a beautiful view. Access to the terrace is by steep stairs and a slightly heavy door, so it could be a challenge for anyone with mobility impairments, but it is very new, safe, and has good lighting. The apartment is very quiet, despite its location, and we had no problem sleeping at night. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen/dining/lounging space are well-equipped to meet your needs, even though very small. There is a washing machine for clothes, which is a huge bonus in such a small apartment. We loved our stay and will absolutely return in the future.

The Genteel Home Plaza Mayor Property has 3 suite-type studios, plus an exclusive attic. All of them are located in the same building in the Plaza Mayor Square. It is a unique house of the seventeenth century, which preserves all the essence of the time. The interior of the building has been completely renovated and furnished giving rise to the modern and comfortable space that it is today, however it maintains many old elements and materials that make it a unique place. The building does not have an elevator as it is part of the Artistic Heritage of the city and preserves intact the original structures of the building of the time.

The area of ​​the apartment is unique, and certainly the best in Madrid. In the surroundings are the most authentic and traditional restaurants in the city, as well as small shops, supermarkets, etc. All tourist and monumental attractions of the city are within walking distance: Puerta del Sol, Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Palace, the Gran Via ... as well as the main museums: El Prado, the Thyssen and Reina Sofia. In addition, connections with public transport are unbeatable.
