United KingdomI had the same room as some weeks before, so I settled in quickly. They have a system with keysafes that works flawlessly. The breakfast is down the road, about 150m so you also have your morning walk. Its a part of an old castle, so really quaint. Good central heating, AC for the summer, instant hotwater and a big rainshower. A window to ventilate quickly, the humidity out !

GermanyThis is a time machine ! You feel like you are back in the 15th century castle, although fully updated with excellent amenities. I arranged to call them on arrival (no reception), and the lady arrived in a few minutes. She brought her infant daughter in pirate cloths with a 'parrot' on her shoulder ; the whole setting could be in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' era ! The doors work with codes, handy if you get the hang of it. There was a complimentary bottle of local wine. This might have been due to booking the most expensive room with a terrace, out of season ( 5C..).

Breakfast and diner in the family restaurant are good and everything is reasonably prices. The owners are friendly and helpful.
