The room was lovely, in an amazing historical building.
IrelandVery special, old building, situated in the very center of an amazing typical, touristic and authentic at the same time, Andalusian village. Good breakfast. Amazing views from the shared terrace. We didn’t know that califa is an institution down there.

Many steps, making access to some rooms less suitable for elderly people with a walking problem. Hotel serves excellent dinners in Moroccan style in beautiful patio. Reservation is required. Very nice breakfast.
SpainThis must be the most interesting hotel I have ever stayed at, every detail so well thought of and a great location in the main square of Vejer. We had dinner at the restaurant within the hotel (Jardin del Califa) and this was one of the best meals of our trip - my vegetable tajine was delicious. Breakfast is also served there - I’m a vegan and there was a great selection for me too. I would definitely love to stay again at La Casa del Califa!
