Breakfast was your typical continental-style---adequate for a morning starter. the room was clean but a little cramped. The bathroom was nicely organized with a shower--lots of hot water and good pressure---and adequate towels. The front desk staff were exceptional--very helpful and considerate. Loved the old town with its many restaurants and things to see.

For my wife and me, this is a 2 star hotel with a 5 star hotel guest services. Besides the convenient location, parking included and breakfast; the welcome and personal attention that we received (all the time) from the hotel manager and staff were way above our expectations.

Nice "old-fashioned" and well maintained Hotel. Personal is very friendly and provides good tips to visit Santillana and the vicinity (e.g. Cave of Altamira). We could park directly in front of the hotel as it was low season. Very good value!

I would give this hotel a 15 rating if it were possible. Everything was perfect. Sure, the rooms and the hotel itself were a little old-fashioned looking, but this just added to its charm. Hervier was friendly and helpful... the perfect host. When talking of restaurants, I mentioned that my husband is gluten intolerant. Next morning this was noted on the breakfast service, and all his needs were met without having asked. That is old-fashioned service! The location was delightful, opposite a park in a quiet street. And all this at incredibly low prices.
