Staff were very welcoming and friendly and helpful. They re-arranged a room booking for us quickly because the first room we had was unsuitable, after staying the first night of our stay. The hotel is very clean and there is a good sized spa. The sizes of the rooms and bathrooms are very generous. The location is beautiful but not near to any shops or town so you must have a vehicle. The restaurant is lovely and for the price we paid for accommodation and food in the restaurant, we were very happy. Located nearby is the 'Magical Fig Tree Forest' which is absolutely gorgeous, well worth visiting - and free of charge. Go to Cortijo Buho while you are there - a wonderful hawk and owl conservancy centre some 35 minutes drive away.

This Hotel was absolutely outstanding, so much so we decided to stay an extra night. It sits in fabulous countryside amid olive groves and a variety of trees. The rooms are large and ours had a wood burning stove which because it is summer we did not use: we can't wait to return in winter to feel its warmth crackling away on a pellucid December day. Every member of staff we interacted with was kind, helpful and friendly. I just cannot praise this gem of a hotel highly enough!!

This establishment is located in the heart of traditional Andalucia, at the foot of Sierra de Cazorla and is ideal for rural tourism and adventure sports.

This is unbeatable accommodations, on the route through the marshes and near to areas of high relief. There is the possibility to make various cultural excursions in this region. The double rooms and junior suites have fireplaces and are decorated in the purest rural Andalucian style. In the restaurant you can sample the finest characteristic local and international dishes. This is the ideal place to spend a relaxing or a very active break in the mountains.

  • My wife and I are both elderly. We are considering booking a deluxe room with sitting room for the night of 15th December. Heating seems to be by log fire. Will the room be warm on arrival and also is there additional heating in the bathroom?
    Good afternoon, the room already has heating installed, it will be ready for when you have arrived. The wood or fire heating is extra, and you would have to buy the sack of firewood here at the hotel for € 8. A greeting! Thank you very much.
