L’Hospitalet de Llobregat is roughly midway between Barcelona El Prat Airport and the centre of the Catalan capital, which makes it a popular accommodation choice. Although now effectively a Barcelona suburb, it is actually a separate city and is one of the most densely populated in the EU, which means no shortage of cheap hostels, modern apartments and luxury hotels on Booking.com.
One of these – the Hesperia Hotel – is a landmark in its own right, as its bulbous tower encloses a panoramic restaurant. Other innovative skyscrapers pepper the skyline – a sign of the city’s financial importance. Fira Barcelona Montjuic is a busy exhibition centre and across the road is the large Gran Via 2 Shopping Centre.
Metro stations on the Gran Via connect Hospitalet de Llobregat to Plaça d'Espanya. It is also linked to Barcelona Sants by trains from the station near El Centre, the oldest district. Narrow Carrer Xipreret is lined with pastel-coloured buildings and a historic building around the corner houses the Hospitalet History Museum. Another interesting structure is the Can Sumarro library and the surrounding shops, cafés and bars reflect the diverse population.
In the north, near Barcelona’s Les Corts district, is the iconic Nou Camp stadium, home of world-famous FC Barcelona.

Sent my days in Barcelona, I was there just to sleep because I got a cheaper hotel located there.
There were no good options for restaurants for dinner or coffee places.
It's not a touristic area at all. Wouldnt recommend staying there unless you need to save some money on accommodation or have a specific event you're are attending nearby.

Great acomodation for a very good price in central location.
Great acomodation for a very good price in central location. We were in Barcelona for a Euroleague game and all were fantastic. The facility have exactly what you would need and furnished ia tasty style especially for thar kind of price range. Maybe the only thing that could be seen as a flaw was the lack of an elevator... But we didn't need any .

The people in the front desk was very helpful.
The people in the front desk was very helpful. Our flight arrived at 9am the check in was at 3pm but they help us and let us in the room earlier. That made a huge difference for us cause we were able to rest and then go out and enjoy the city until late.

Room was lovely and modern, very clean.
Room was lovely and modern, very clean. Jokingly we asked if we could possibly have an upgrade, which they gave us!! We chose this hotel because it was relatively close to the metro, since we were only staying overnight between flights. Would recommend anyday!

It's not a busy part of Barcelona in the tourist sense.
It's not a busy part of Barcelona in the tourist sense. You need to use the Metro at least 30 minutes with line changes to get to the major tourist attractions but this was close by to the Fira Granvia where I was going to work the following week.

Room Size: Excellent
Room Layout: This hotel room boasts the best layout I've encountered. Upon entering, the bathroom is prominently positioned, followed by a room enclosed by a glass door, creating a distinct separation from the corridor.
Bathroom Features: The bathroom offers a separate enclosed shower, a separate enclosed toilet, two sinks, and a makeup mirror, presenting an impeccably designed space.
Lines: Good quality
View from the room: Spectacular, but unfortunately the windows were very dirty.
Quite basic breakfast, but enough for us. Easy access by any transportation (we used bus, metro, train and taxi). Taxi from Airport cost approx. 25 eur, from/to downtown varies between 8-12 eur. Location is quiet and just opposite of big shopping center. Cleaning was good and done every day.
Pool at the top was super nice - although it wasn't officially open yet and freezing cold, but we loved it :)
All the hotels during Easter time were expensive, this was quite ok for the money - I can recommend!
great transport links, opposite a lovely shopping centre with easy food options if you don’t feel like venturing deeper into Barcelona. felt like a safe area for solo female travellers
lady at reception was lovely and patient with my rusty Spanish. wasn’t able to check in on arrival in the morning, but was able to leave my luggage secured with them. was promptly told when the property was ready and found my suitcases in the apartment waiting for me.
This lovely property is tucked into the working class neighborhood of the bohemian section of town, giving the wonderful mix of locals and visitors. The rooms have a/c and you can get fresh cups of coffee/tea from the front desk. Daily breakfast is delicious, with options that are healthy and reasonably priced. The community space makes for a great place to work during the day — they have the fastest wifi I’ve ever had in a hotel!
The management staff was very friendly and attentive. They were well versed in English. The cleaning and laundry staff did a very good job as well. Metro is only 4 minutes walk from here. Many buses stop right I'm front of it. A Variety of hotels with different cuisines nearby. For sports fans, the Camp Nou is at the walking distance.
Some art in the room will add more to the cultural Barcelona experience.
Very nice decor, very comfortable beds, easy 20 minute problem public bus ride straight to the airport (can pay with credit card on the bus and it's less than 3 euro/person) and easy bus ride into the center of the city. Check in was fast and easy and the receptionist was great about giving us directions and checking in to make sure we found our way to the bus.
The hotel is perfect as it is easy to reach from the airport and it has local bus and underground stops very close. Also, a big mall is within a walk distance. The room was very good, even if it was small. The restaurant in the hotel delivers great local food and drinks, do not miss. Staff was frindly.
I was happy to visit Barcelona and staying in Hotel Madanis Liceo. I'd been like good location closed to the metro, cleanness, good service and friendly staff. I'm grateful for best breakfasts which charged for the whole day☺️
This hotel was beautiful, food and drinks were excellent, helpful friendly staff, spacious comfortable room. The pool facilities were amazing for only 12 Euros per person per day (if I remember correctly)
Good location, great value for the money. If you need an affordable hotel with all ammenities and do not wish to “break the bank” Easyhotel is the way to go. Excellent connections to all major sites..
Close to Barcelona Fira, close to bus station to go to the center city, close to ikea, close to metro - 10minutes walking. Good breakfast, good shower.
very nice hotel to stay close to Fira.
Hotel Orangine is an easy walk to the metro station & Hop On Hop Off bus stop. A delightful unit, spacious, clean, well planned - couldn't ask for more. Great decor. Good lift. Nice to be in.
Everything was really nice, airport is nearby and easy to come to the hotel with bus, if you don't have car.
It is extremely clean and cosy. Buffet and food choice also nice.
I liked to stay here. Very good cleaning of the room every day, delicious breakfast, helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel while your trip to Barcelona
The room was clean and easy to access and on the first day the staff was happy to help and explained everything I wanted/had to know about the hotel and facilities.
