While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide.
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.
this place should be titled an Oasis outside of Melide. I chose to stay for 4 days and taxi back and forth to my starting /stopping points on the Camino was the most relaxing days on the camino as I would come back and the place was spotless everyday. The best part was the pool to soak my feet every evening after walking. The staff are working hard to speak English so patience and a translating app work’s excellent. if i ever come to Melide again i would stay here.
The property is situated on the path of the Camino, the bed was amazing, as comfortable as you would find in a five star hotel, the staff were friendly, the en-suite private bathrooms were modern and tastefully designed, the rooms were larger than normal and the electric window shutters acted as effective blackout curtains. Despite the comfort, position and friendliness, it was the cheapest property we stayed in on the Camino.
the best place on the Camino. Maria and Luis has created a truly wonderful place. it is a small place only three rooms. they pamper their guests and delivers a service you do not find in most 5 star hotels. the food for dinner and breakfast is amazing Maria cook bake and make most of the food from scratch. 😋 keep up the good work. you have earned all the good reviews. we would love to come back and stay
Everything. An amazingly Spanish/English family ran hotel. Nothing was any trouble. Great facilities landry restaurant. Victor was an amazing guy, very friendly and very helpful. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Cannot recommend this hotel and very reasonably priced. I will defiently be stzying here again on my next Camino trek
We loved this property, it is. beautiful with a great pool. The water was very cold but it felt so soothing on our tired limbs. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were amazing. The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location in the old part of town and close to the Comino.
Nice, very helpful staff in bar, hotel, and restaurant. Room is a very good value: spacious, clean, comfortable. Who cares if the decor is dated? Not me! Superb, home style menu del día for only 11 euros. Probably the best menú del día value on the whole Camino francés.I will be returning here to sleep and eat!!
The property was lovely, tranquil and clean. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel
comfortable we even asked to stay an extra night which they gladly accommodated for us.
The twin room was spacious and the bathrooms were lovely. The pool was beautiful and the hotel was overly well equipped.
Oh my goodness this place is an absolute gem. A little touch of luxury at a very affordable price. Just steps away from the camino and within very easy reach of the town so not too far for weary feet to find a place to eat. Ana was so helpful too.
I highly recommend this hotel.
lovely hotel on the camino . great location , bed was really comfortable, check in was easy, hosts were pleasant and helpful . they graciously offered to come back and help someone in our group who was not able to arrive in time for the official check in window
Good location in nice town. Clean and warm room. Check-in and laundry facility at the Lux Melide Hotel.
Great place to eat affordable, tender pulpo Galician style at the restaurant A Garnacha.
This is a really fine appartment, with large, comfortable rooms, which are finished to a high standard. It's a short walk to the centre of bustling Melide. We had excellent food delivered.
Great hotel right in the center of town. Impeccable lobby, rooms and bathrooms. We had a view to the street with huge windows. Everything was so clean, well appointed and SO comfortable.
This is a new hotel and therefore had nice rooms and bathrooms. There is even a pool. Great location. Friendly staff. There is also a small restaurant onsite.
