“The location is very convenient being close to the main road. (However, the bedroom - they are all at the back - was not at all noisy.) It is a lovely building, beautifully refurbished. The owners are justifiably proud of it and keen to explain its history Huge bedroom. Well appointed bathroom. Lovely comfortable bed (apart from the pillow - see below) with good bed linen Breakfast was excellent.”

“Great for a one night stop over just a shame the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening but we managed to get good food in the village. We felt it was COVID safe and the owners were happy to help as much as they could.”

“Lovely old building sensitively restored and owned by a proud family. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good, clean and spacious room. Excellent, freshly prepared breakfast and home-made cake. Close to the motorway and easy to find but there was no traffic noise. The room looked into the courtyard between two buildings. The other building was the restaurant and the road was on the other side. We had a pleasant visit to the museum in the restored castle. It was open until 8pm.”
