Beautifully restored boutique hotel over looking the sea. Great location; quiet; comfortable room, bed, and public spaces; lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed OJ and variety of fine choices. Ainara at the front desk was a delight and so helpful! Reasonable rate for nearby garaged parking.

The location of the hotel is in the old quarter and was quiet. Getting to hotel a bit of a challenge but GPS solves everything 👍. We requested a parking space, that we paid for, but it was indeed a value. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Staff couldn’t be better.

Jon, the receptionist was so welcoming and charming when checking us in and even showed us in person to our room explaining the facilities of the hotel. Due to Covid we preferred not to have breakfast with other guests but the breakfast room was outstanding with fantastic panoramic views over the bay. The room was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was big and comfortable, en suite bathroom had a bath tub, bidé and shower and all toiletries provided. The small surcharge of 6 Euros for our dog was very acceptable when compared to other hotels. We will definitely return!

Set in a Gothic-style property dating from the 15th century, the Saiaz Getaria Hotel is unique accommodations located in a beautiful area of the Basque Country.
Saiaz Getaria Hotel is a historical tower house property, in the old town of Getaria. When you enter the hotel, the sea can be seen under the basements of the western walls – standing between the cliffs of Gatetape beach and Roke Deuna street.
