Mogan is very pretty, it’s picturesque with its flowers and coloured buildings.
Not a huge resort so you can explore all of it in a short time.
The usual shops selling tat but some nice shops too. Plenty of restaurants so I’d advise always go b&b when staying in Mogan!
We ate at many places but clipper is definitely one to try. It’s on the square by the band stand by the harbour.

Mogan is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Mogan is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Bus 91 from the airport takes 1 hour. Mogan is made up of pretty low rise apartments, canals, a square and a few shopping streets. Well equipped Spar supermarket. Lots of good restaurants. Free yoga session every day at 9am by the beach. Sheltered beach and safe swimming.
Lots of sun beds and umbrellas to hire (3.50 euros a day each). While usually sunny and warm, occasionally wind from the Sahara causes overcast/dusty conditions (Calima) which can last a few days but it’s still warm all year round.

PdM is a nice little town, quiet, very little noise.
PdM is a nice little town, quiet, very little noise. Lots of restaurants, but in general somewhat higher prices than in Playa del Ingles, less of the shabby places with cheap eats.
There are two supermarkets that obviously mainly cater to tourists, but the bigger one, Spar, have fresh meats and cheeses and some ready cooked food.
There is a decent selection of shops and you should be able to get whatever you need for your stay. On Fridays there is a huge market setting up, with everything from your cheap copyware market stalls to lokally made food and jewellery and crafts.

A lovely little resort, unspoilt by high rise apartments or hotels. A small, safe beach area with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. Harbour area is particularly picturesque. Very quiet and peaceful. 2 large complexes a bit inland, but again low rise.

Relaxed, clean and friendly beach town affording public, uncrowded access to the sea. Is a lovely beach. The water gets deep rather quickly so I wouldn’t leave children unsupervised but the 21 degrees temp was very pleasant under the warm December sun.
Not a buzzing nightlife and no major shopping so perfect for nature lovers.
Bike, bus and pedestrian friendly.
I enjoyed tapas at the Capuccino 501 and a ceviche at the Sol y Luna.
I also hiked up the mountains for a few hours and saw just 3 people during the entire time.
I’m glad I stayed in a quiet hotel just 3 km up the hill instead of being too close to the more populated beach area.

Puerto de Mogan is furthest from the airport and this may be a reason the resort is quieter, prettier, slower, and in my opinion, better! The lanes and roads are bathed in beautiful flowers, the paths are wide and thoughtfully made with interesting designs on them. I'd say this resort is better for older travellers who like to wander, have a drink, wander, have food, sit around and simply enjoy the wonderfulness of the location.

Ernesto was an excellent host he lives under the apartments and we seen him most days. He always checked we had everything we needed. On arrival he walked to the bus depot to greet us and had put a bottle of water in the fridge. The apartment was well equipped and we had a mid-week clean to change towels etc: lovely views from the shared terrace on the rooftop. Plenty of seating and umbrellas available. Ideally placed for the beach and restaurants. Would definitely check availability on our next holiday in Gran Canaria.
This is our 2nd visit this year and the standards remain as high as before. Welcoming and helpful reception staff, friendly staff at the bars and restaurants, very efficient room cleaning service and the most comfortable beds ever! We booked half board and every day we were met with a large selection of delicious and well prepared food choices. The location and layout of the hotel is excellent and offers a quiet relaxing break at a quality hotel in Puerto De Mogan, probably the most attractive location on Gran Canaria.
We have stayed in this hotel many times before, and the size of the rooms and balcony are very good. This time, additional measures were in place in terms of COVID, and I think this was handled well. The hotel was pretty quiet for the first week, and plenty of room around the pool. For the last few days the hotel became busy - I think these were probably Spanish guests using the last weekend before kids go back to school - however, still plenty of space.
All in all, it turned out to be a lovely one-week stay at Hotel LIVVO Puerto de Mogán. The location was excellent compared to all other locations in Puerto de Mogán. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive in making sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The breakfast/dinner buffet was ideal with a wide variety of options to choose from. I look forward to returning to Puerto de Mogán in 2024.
Fantastic accommodation, well located in the lovely town of Puerto de Mogán. The apartment has everything you could need (apart from an oven, but there is a hob and there are lots of restaurant options). We had been planning to travel around the island a lot, but instead spent most of the trip in town/the local beach (which is one of the nicest ones on the island). The drive up the mountain is tough but well worth it.
great hotel in a fabulous little resort. immaculately clean, lovely food and great facilities.
staff well all polite and helpful, especially the breakfast staff in the blue house who were fab with my young son.
I would recommend the junior suites to families, as it gives you a separate living space for when the kids go to bed.
Beautiful little apartment, perfect for couples.... everything you need for a comfortable stay. Super handy for the beach, restaurants / bars / shops and bus station. Everything perfectly clean. We can't wait to go back. Oh and Puerto de Mogan is a fantastic place, not too big or too busy. Recommended!
great location to puerto de Mogan. 5-10 mins walk to the beach which is perfect to be away from the busy area to sleep. very comfortable beds and clean accommodation. a couple of mins walk to the shopping centre with a few nice bars / restaurants and live music.
The location is great, short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bus station. The roof terrace is amazing with the best views. The place is clean. Interactions with other guests possible.
Good connection with the owner by text messages ahead of arrival
Nice manager
Very good location - close to everything
Mogan is well worth a visit, very nice town
Beautiful hotel ten mins walk from the gorgeous town of Puerto de Mogan and beach. Excellent food with good choice of dishes both for breakfast and dinner.
My 4 year old daughter and I had the best time. The flat is very comfortable, we had everything we needed, and just about 2 minutes away from the beach.
