The Wild Olive Andalucía is a traditional Finca, nestled above the Costa del Sol, bordering the province of Cádiz on 5 hectares of lush, rolling hills with magnificent views. Just a short, 8km drive from the coast, we are the same distance from the picturesque “white village” of Casares. We are an eco-friendly accommodation, off-the-grid and powered by solar energy. Our remodeled barn has authentic Spanish charm updated with comfortable amenities and a pool. The farmhouse features 4 separate guest rooms. The Palma features a bedroom with a double bed (or 2 singles upon request) that opens up to a large salon area with a sofa bed, dining area and then the bathroom. Aside from the guest rooms, The Farmhouse has a large shared kitchen, lounge area and game room. Outside you will find large terracotta terraces with a barbacoa and seating areas overlooking the garden and pool. The surrounding "campo" is very special with wild flowers, avocado, fruit and citrus trees. We have friendly chickens that roam and visiting horses and a donkey. There are no other buildings in sight. A great place to disconnect. *A remote and quiet place like ours requires a little bit of an adventure to access. We are just off the main highway then you will travel on a short country dirt road for about 400 meters. It is safe and no problem to drive along but there are some potholes and can be bumpy at times. Once you reach our property gates, there is a gravel road with some steep parts so it's best to again, go slow. Guests come and go on it every single day. **Note for renting in the winter (November - March): Our farmhouse is large and rustico. The large common spaces have energy efficient heating but it can be chilly at times and difficult to heat up very quickly. Pack an extra sweater.

Erin and Wilco welcome you to our Finca! Erin is American, from California and Will is Dutch from Rotterdam, Netherlands. We have dreamed of running a small boutique hotel for a long time. We have traveled all over the world and have searched for a place to call home and start our business. We have fallen in love with Andalucia and we are certain you will too. We love nothing more than to meet people from around the world, share stories over great food and wine. We love the outdoors--the ocean and mountains, cooking and hosting.

The Wild Olive is uniquely central to just about anything you would like to enjoy on your holiday. Directly surrounding the Finca, you will find winding mountain roads and a real countryside feel with several hiking trails. In the other direction, you can enjoy the busy beach atmosphere, the closest one being Sabinillas complete with restaurants, cafes and shops.
