Nestled between La Oliva and Villaverde it's quiet and secluded, but with great restaurants and shops within easy reach, as well as trails and mountain wilderness within walking distance. Sunsets in the garden are magical, and Maurizio the host (and his dog Sissi) could not have been more friendly and helpful. Villa Susana, hotel in La Oliva

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a patio, Villa Susana is located in La Oliva.

My wife and I enjoyed 15 nights at Villa Susana. The property was airy and spacious for the two of us. Well positioned for Corralejo, los Lobos, El Cotillo, Puerto del Rosario, La Oliva and the sand dunes. The couple who looked after the property for the absent owners were very helpful and very pleasant. A selection of good restaurants close by serving local fare. The lemon trees heavy with fruit were great for G+Ts.

Perfect spot on Fuerteventura if you want to avoid mass tourism. 20 minutes to the beaches on either side and lots of good restaurants nearby. Perfect for people who are into hiking, surfing or yoga. You need a car, though.

This property was a great last minute find.

This property was a great last minute find. I booked it Saturday morning, and arrived Saturday afternoon! Very central and convenient location nestled in amongst the volcanoes in the area, beautiful landscape, really close to El Cotillo and Corralejo, and a great 'base' to explore from. The property's immaculate and the hosts are just wonderful and friendly. I felt at 'home', and very comfortable as a solo traveler. I didn't eat out - there were kitchen facilities so I saved money by bringing food supplies in, so I could spend money on fun adventures. From 'here', I discovered Los Molinos, a tiny little ocean front beach community only about 25-30 mins drive from Villaverde (where the property is), and it became my favorite beach (until I found the sand dunes national park which is literally directly east of the property!). All up, the apartment has everything you need, and is in a great location to have fun from!

La Oliva is a lovely quiet location to relax in but should you require something lively it is within reach - just a bus ride or a 15 minute drive away. This also applies to beaches - which are absolutely stunning with little inlets all along the coast and the sand is so white and soft. I stayed in Villaverde which has numerous restaurants with one or two arguably the best on the island. The capital of Puerta la Rosario is a bus ride away or a twenty five minute drive away and retains a true Spanish/Canarian atmosphere with lots of shopping and again restaurants. The Canadians like their food and I love it too.

El Cotillo is a regular haunt.

El Cotillo is a regular haunt. Never busy, No drunken antics meaning it a very relaxed atmosphere. Places do close early, but thats fine by us. Plenty of nice places to eat. Its the peace and quiet that suits us. Hope it doesn't change.

Beautiful accommodation with lovely surrounds in a quiet area on the outskirts of La Oliva. Everything you could need in the property - comfy bed, small but perfectly usable kitchen, nice size bathroom, decent WiFi. One of the owners greeted us and showed us around, after which they were hardly seen despite living just next-door - always there if anything went wrong, but not intrusive at all. Property is in a quiet area but a short walk or even shorter drive to some excellent restaurants, and a good sized supermarket. Perfect!

We loved the garden full of colors and flowers, and we adored using the barbecue. The place is spacious, the kitchen modern and supplied with everything. The swimming pool is the cherry on the cake! The Supermarket is at walking distance, however it's essential to have a car to get around from La Oliva as it's not on the coast. Though, you can get wherever you like in reasonable time as La Oliva is in a strategic position. Ultimately amazing value for what we paid and perfect for a couple on holiday.

Our initial experience was so bad that me and my girlfriend decided to stay the first night in a hotel room and try to find another house for the rest of our vacation. However, Lajares is the place were you want to stay during your location. People a kind and welcoming and the food is amazing! Especially the Italian restaurant "La Cancela".

The house was spacious for two people and allowed our dog to come with us. The garden had a nice little pool and was awesome to have a BBQ and relax in the sun. The house is also located right next to La Oliva, a very cute quiet town. The double bed was quite comfy, although far from being worth the price we paid for the house.
