Beautiful little town, everywhere is a detail to admire, great wine bar at the end of the Main Street and after 100mts you can admire the bridge and the river from a beautiful resting garden. Definitely worth it to stay for a night.

She also owns the beautifully styled bar / restaurant downstairs. We had dinner there and it was absolutely wonderful. Wonderful local dishes beautifully prepared and presented. A real highlight of our trip and made me a hero because I was the one that suggested that we eat there. If you are reading this and are heading to Puente la Reina then we could not recommend both the apartment and the restaurant more highly.

I walked 40 km to my next destination of the Camino to realize I had forgotten my passport. After goi g crazy for an hour I called the hotel and they told they had found it and they had thought of putting it inside my luggage that was being transported from stage to stage no opened an outside pocket and found my passport with cash and credit cards. They saved my trip. Thank you, thank you

When we asked for an explanation, the driver just drop our luggage and left, the person who checked us in, in a rushed way, said that it was the same property! Overbook can happen, but it can be dealt in a nice way.

Only issue was there was no staff at early checkout and staff didn’t stamp my Camino Credential! Restaurant was expensive & fridge with drinks was open when I went to checkout!
