We was really Happy, beautiful place nice view good little cottage very warm whole cottage was heated even the floor , plus bonus little fire place make completely this place fantastic, besides the cottage also tiny cottage with fire place awesome place for bbq , good spot for fishing and also reindeer farm there 😊😊very happy Honza and Terka 😊

Everything was great! Very beautiful surroundings and private location. The children could sled outside, we could jump in the snow after the sauna. The house was decorated for Christmas. The house itself was big enough for the family, everything needed was there and everything was clean and tidy. Very cozy and pleasant. I would definitely like to go back there in the summer as well.

Our car slid and stuck in the snow (4kms away from our cottage). We asked for the help from one of the local passer-by who happened to be owners brother. In almost no time, the owner Jussi came with this big vehicle and pulled out our vehicle and saved us. It was such a kind and beautiful gesture. We felt that even though we are in foreign land but the humanity is intact. He came along with few people as well. A very big thanks to Jussi for taking care of us. We just loved our stay and saw aurora as well during our stay. I would recommend everyone to experience this place and stay in one of these cottages.

Kenttäniemi Cottages are located 40 minutes drive from Rovaniemi centre. It is a perfect place for guests willing to enjoy the nature, silence and peace of Lapland. The grounds of the chalets are perfect for aurora spotting and photographing, as the nearest street lights are 9 km away. When staying in Kenttäniemi, it is possible for quests to swim and fish on the wilderness lake Mäntyjärvi. Both 3-bedroom-chalet and chalet have their own sauna.
Reindeer herder and entrepreneur Mr Pertti Mänty hosts his quests with the help of his family of three grown-up children and one grandchild. They all enjoy outdoor activities, reindeer herding tasks and spending time in the surrounding nature. They want to share the authentic experiences with their guests!
400 metres from the Kenttäniemi Cottages is a traditional reindeer farm, where the guests can go for a visit. On the farm there is also a small shop with reindeer products and local crafts. The nearest husky farm is 2,5 km from Kenttäniemi.
