“This was a wonderful place to get away from Helsinki for a night or two... it's about 3.5 km from the bus stop so if you're not a walker you'll need a taxi if you go by bus from Helsinki... but I am a walker, and otherwise it's perfect. Sauna was excellent.”

“The localisation was great. Its only 40 minutes walk away from Porvoo but you feel like you are in the deep forest of Finland. It’s very cosy and out of world, exactly what i expected and wanted. I loved the place, everything was there, even small stuff to buy if you need and Marina gave us lighttorch for a walk. Sauna was nice and perfect to chill. You can do pretty much everything : reading, TV, trekking, games or just enjoy the local nature. One of the best experience and place i ever stayed and Marina was just so nice and well-caring. I hope i can come again soon !”

“Lovely place on a little island, surrounded by beautiful nature, yet close to the pretty little city of Porvoo. Very warm welcome from Marina, the owner, who lives in the house next door with her family. She is extremely kind and helpful and can provide a good and plentiful breakfast if asked. They even fixed a bicycle for me - thank you! The house for the guests is very spacious, cosy, very clean and very well kept. The big garden and the Finnish sauna are an additional plus. There's plenty to do on the pretty island itself (walking, fishing, bird watching,...), and you can visit pretty Porvoo with its traditional wooden houses and the area around or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. Loved everything about my stay here - thank you! ”

“Nice and quiet place in the middle island in forest. Big plus that you can have your dog with you and warm up the sauna if you want. About 3km from city but if you have a car or bicycle that is not an issue. Would stay again ”

“Séjour Formidable, Je me suis réveillée avec 5 jeunes cerfs et biches qui jouaient devant ma fenêtre. Un petit coin de paradis. A l'automne, les couleurs sont magnifiques, la forêt devant la maison grouille de champignon et au bout du chemin on est au bord de la mer... Trop beau, trop paisible et un super accueil des hôtes. Une jolie carte postale de la Finlande. Être si près de Porvo ne gâche rien : très jolie village, maison très ancienne...”“0”
