Very well located, this is an excellent hotel to stay it. We loved our room, attention to detail was obvious and breakfast was very good. Spa facility was top notch and we used this a number of times. Security strong, which is welcome.

The property was okay but looks a bit outdated in the common areas. I have booked this place as a recommendation because of the spa facilities, however I was shocked when on arrival I have been asked to pay an additional 20 EUR in order to enjoy them. I would expect a 5 star hotel to allow you to use the spa and gym facilities for free irrespective of the room category.

One of the best hotels in Helsinki, though pricey. We had a comfortable room with a nice view over the park, a huge bathroom and great bed. The spa was so nice and the wintergarden-lounge was beautiful. Superb breakfast!

Amazing location. The room was very good and whilst not huge was perfect for our stay. The spa was fantastic and I had a hot stone massage treatment which was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious. The bar menu was not very big but the staff were great and accommodated our requests. We didn’t get to try the in house Asian restaurant as it was closed for the summer.

All the carefully thought-out design features, so that everything in our room was easy to operate and very comfortable to stay in. (eg lighting worked well and switches were in the right places). Also loved the art/design fusion with lots of interesting artworks in public areas (eg large hanging Ai Weiwei sculpture).The staff were very friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast staff were exceptional.

This elegant hotel is housed in a building dating back to the 1840s, located right next to the Old Church Park in Helsinki city center. It offers on-site dining, an in-house bakery and stylish rooms. Helsinki Central Station is 7 minutes’ walk away from St. George Hotel. Air-conditioning, luxurious beds by Duxiana and a mini-bar with healthy refreshments are standard in each room. The marble bathroom includes a rain shower and bathroom amenities from L:A Bruket. St. George also offers a variety of spacious suites with either a balcony or furnished terrace. Restaurant Boon Nam by chef Tomi Björck offers flavors of Thai cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Freshly baked bread, salads, lunch boxes and coffee are served in St. George Bakery & Bar which offers a relaxed atmosphere. The glass-covered Wintergarden Bar, with its living room like setting, is found in the heart of the hotel and is a perfect place to enjoy a drink and meet with friends. Guests over the age of 16 can enjoy free access to the hotel spa (excluding Cozy Studio room category) which includes an indoor pool, sauna and gym. Pampering treatments can also be booked. Hotel St. George Helsinki features an international as well as Finnish art collection which can be admired throughout the hotel and its guest rooms.
