The room was very nice. The Aurora Hut windows were amazing. And even though it was cloudy and we didn't see the northern lights, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. It snowed a ton our last night, and we had to leave early to get to the airport. Luckily, the snowplows were there quickly to clear the roads so we could leave.

Located on top of Kaunispää Mountain, Star Arctic Hotel is located in Saariselka in the Finnish Lapland Region. Each room features large windows to view the surrounding nature and if lucky, the Northern Lights during winter. A shared sauna is also available. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. You will find a coffee machine and a kettle in the room. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. Extras include bathrobes and slippers. A mix of traditional Lappish cuisine and modern dishes are available at the on site restaurant. Wine tasting are also held on site next to the fireplace.
