The location and the place in general. The villa is within walking distance from town center , straight line you cam walk in less than 20 min. Also 2 supermarkets within 500 m or so plus the ones in town. Location also in the middle of a quiet neighbourhood, idilic natural scenary. The host mr and mrs were so nice and checking with us if we needed anything. The villa was very clean, warm despite de cold weather, cosy and confortable

We just love to live Lapland and Finland the happiest place in the world! We have beautiful nature, fresh air and space to live. I have working with tourists come to Lapland 30 years now and we have professional cooperatives with all the activities such as huskies, reindeers, snowmobiles and hiking. Sauna experience and swimming in a cold water. Villa Virpi was established 2012. We would like to welcome you to visit our home in the Arctic Circle! In the summertime sun does not set all, we have daylight 24 hrs. In the wintertime we have very colorful sky: Northern Lights. Lapland no ordinary place! You may choose your accommodation from luxurious private Villa for your family or city apartment for couples with sauna and private big balcony or have homestay with children in wooden house built in 1957. Villa Virpi is unique place to stay.

Welcome to Lapland! Our house was built in 1957 and is located in nice neighborhood. The house is very traditional Finnish architecture and has been renovated by respecting the age of the building. The house has own 1600sqm yard, possibility to barbeque and dining in the garden and do the sport activity. Summertime possibility to rent our bicycles. In the 3rd floor we have 2 master bedroom and separate bathroom with shower. In the 2nd floor we kitchen well equipped kitchen possibility to make your own breakfast. We have apartment suitable for couples with private sunny balcony and sauna. Beautiful interior. Luxurious private Villa with kitchen and private bedroom. Access to private terrace. Wi-Fi is included, password will be provided. Linen and towels are included. The home is 20 minutes walking distance from the city centre, 15 minutes walking distance Arktikum (the museum and Arctic Science Centre) and Pilke ( Forest related Science Centre) and Korundi (House of Culture, Concerts and Exhibitions) Distances from the house (approximately): * Rovaniemi city centre 1,5 km / 15 minutes by foot * The nearest bus stop in 200 m * Nearest grocery store within 400 m open daily * Rovaniemi Airport 10 km / 10 minutes by car * Rovaniemi Railway Station and bus station 5 min. drive and city apartment short walk
