Excellent location in the middle of the Gjogv town, we finally was able to experience the turf-roofed house, the food was superb

view from our room (we stayed not in the main building) quality of food, both breakfast and dinner rooms are rather simple, touristic guesthouse like.....

The kitchen staff and hosts were very friendly. They pay attention to detail in order to share elements of the Faroese culture accordingly. The guest house was very clean in the rooms and common areas as well.

Gjogv is a beautiful little place by the sea; the Guesthouse is situated a little above the village. I was in the annexe, which had nice views from the balcony. I had hoped to dine there, but it was full, so my fault for not booking. Breakfast was good. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Very beautiful location and hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, large, and comfortable. The morning breakfast was good and the servers were very attentive. We enjoyed the restaurant one evening.

Everything~ Well prepared stay for a solo traveler like me.

The rooms are small but really nice and cosy. We had a great view of the sea (though a bit far away). It is a quiet hotel with very good quality of bed and nice linens, TV, very nice bathroom with organic soap/shampoo. Location is perfect and parking is available right by the hotel. We were in the annex, so had to walk (short pleasant stroll) to the main building for breakfast and for dinner. DINNER is awesome - though very pricey, but definitely worth the money! Exquisite! Breakfast is also exceptional. We had fresh, tasty strawberries, nice choice of hams, cheeses, freshly baked bread - it's really a treat. The hotel asks by email if you want to make a dinner reservation, and it really does get booked out. (there are not really many other choices we would have noticed), so if you want to eat in, make sure you pick one of the two times they suggest.

This is such a special place to stay in the Faroe Islands. I wish we could’ve spent more time there. We had a Delicious dinner and breakfast at the guesthouse. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. Our room was beautiful with very nice amenities. We especially appreciated the black out curtains since it never really gets dark in the summer.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is well-run and the dinner menu is interesting and creative. We stayed here three years ago and the quality of food seems at a higher level at the present. Breakfast is good, too.

EVERYTHING- location, bed confront, restaurant, friendly staff.
