Compact, comfortable, simple, clean room, good value. Restaurant v good (ate in on evening, had excellent breakfast sitting outside the local bakery cafe on the square 2 blocks away) . Parking outside, lovely town on the doorstep worth exploring on foot.

Plain. Clean. Friendly. Efficient. Reasonably priced. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay near Colmar (as Colmar itself can be very overpriced), this is a good bet. The town itself is quiet and nice, with interesting ramparts. The room has everything you can hope for and the breakfast was absolutely fine, continental style, with heavenly pastries. If you are trying to impress a girlfriend or traveling with a mother in law, you probably need something a bit more fancy, but for a simple overnight, this is a wonderful place to stay.

We had to wait until 5pm to check in but there is plenty to see in Neuf Brisach so this was no problem. Our room was large and a little old fashioned but gave us plenty of space. Both our evening meals and breakfasts were excellent. We chose this accommodation for its cycle storage which was an amazing locked barn across the road.

눉Wifi dire - but only a shrug from the staff. Church bells are silent from about 11pm to 6 am only, but surprisingly unobtrusive.

눉The check in is, in fact, after 5 pm, as noted and announced. The receptions was so nice to let us in a bit earlier, but clearly we crossed her work routine and were just lucky. We were so grateful for that after a long journey, but if you need to arrive earlier, it might be a problem for you. The heating wasn't on prior to our arrival and it took a long time for the room to warm up. But eventually it did and all was well.
