Apartment Albert is a beautiful 1st. floor apartment in the historical Bastide area in the centre of Carcassonne, just 1 street back from Place Carnot. Every consideration has ben taken to ensure you have a fantastic stay in this beautiful, old listed Building, although the building is old, the apartment has recently been fully refurbished to offer a comfortable & luxurious stay. The apartment is equipped with beautiful and contemporary furnishings and decor, original modern art compliments the original and classic features of an apartment of this age. Although the apartment is right in the centre of town, the windows overlook the buildings internal courtyard, so it is light, airy and extremely quiet. A smart TV, with streaming services & wifi system allows you to relax and be entertained in the beautiful living space. Nespreeso machine, milk aerator coffee pods and English tea are provided for your use during your stay. A new wet room has been installed to invigorate yourself after a day exploring the Bastide and la cité or to refresh after a great sleep in the huge comfortable kingsize bed...

Visiting the vineyards, sampling the wines, loving the local markets, experiencing new things, leisurely strolls around the canal & river, or enjoying some of the hikes in the area which are graded to suit all levels. Discovering the history of the Cathar trail and marvelling at the many fortress castles & churches which dot the surrounding landscape. Meeting the welcoming locals & fellow visitors, making new friends along the way. Having travelled extensively around this world, It's great to stay somewhere like Apartment Albert. The Apartment is just off Place Carnot in the centre of Carcassonne's old Bastide. Everything is really just on your doorstep, shops, cafés, boutiques, the Canal du Midi is just at the end of your street! Experience the famous farmers and food artisan market held nearby every Saturday morning, sample the wonderful patisseries, wine caves and charcuterie available in the many speciality shops near by. Wander around, get lost, make new friends in this extremely homely town
