“For a one night stop in transit, during corona time, we had been searching for a quiet location and found Auvergnat Home. Very friendly welcome, a beautiful room, with bathroom and sauna, a fridge filled with beer and wine from the region and especially with a private sitting area in the beautiful, spacious garden. And on top of that the next morning a delicious breakfast with many products made by the hostess herself. And that for a price, comparable to that of a hotel room. Although somewhat remote from the major highways, the detour was more than worth it. Also recommended for a prolonged stay, outside corona time. Everything was super clean and perfect.” Read more

“We stayed for three nights in the gite. It was fantastic. Geraldine and Eric are superb hosts. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The gite is delightful and has everything you need. Everything is of a very high standard and good quality. There are lovely little touches everywhere and the attention to detail is superb. We were made to feel very welcome and “at home”. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was superb and the bed was comfortable. Geraldine had provided toiletries and washing up liquid etc. We even found extras such as cooking foil in the kitchen. The whole place was spotlessly clean. We loved the sitting area and outside terrace. We had a fantastic time and wished we had been able to stay longer. Just take care if you are very tall as the beams are low and the stairs are steep.
