Great location near the highway but without the “sterile “ feel of a chain motel. The historic building was lovingly restored and the fireplace in the lobby was a welcome site on a cold evening. We ordered dinner ahead and were pleasantly surprised with the wine list and the dinner choices. The food was delicious. The room was very clean with a walk-in shower that was very clean , had great pressure and hot water quickly. Comfortable bed, quiet room and good breakfast .

We had a ground floor room with a terrace, huge bed , lovely shower etc.Our evening meal was good and we enjoyed a nice bottle of red. We did not have breakfast due to us leaving at 6am. We both got a good nights sleep we plan to stay again at this hotel and explore the area once the covid stuff has been sorted.
