Conveniently located in center of town.
Gave us 4 very big bath towels!!!
Twin beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was 8€: hot drink, oj, 4 different pastries/bread, yogurt, kiwi fruit, butter, jam. I ordered a cappuccino...Best darn looking and tasting cappuccino I've had between Germany, France, and Spain.
The town did quiet down after 11pm.

Beautiful and well-stocked gite in Laruns. We enjoyed the hot tub and visiting with the other guests. Good restaurants in town and easy drives to lots of good hiking. One beautiful hike to a water fall right from the gite. It's a lovely stay!!

Laruns is a charming village in the Ossau valley. It's an ideal base for exploring the Béarn area of the Pyrenees, and a centre for many outdoor activities, and has a good selection of eateries. To be fair, La Caverne is in Eaux Chaudes, a few miles south of Laruns. Its heyday as a spa destination has gone but there is a lovely "past elegance" about the place. Laruns is bigger and busier but still a nice town in which to spend a few hours.

Laruns is just the right size.
Laruns is just the right size. We liked the supermarket at the edge of the village for stocking up on supplies and the artistic sculptures nearby. It's a great place to use as a base for visiting nearby attractions. We had a great meal at Restaurant L'Arregalet, good atmosphere too. Having to wait in the car, in the town square, while a shepherd watered a large flock of sheep in the town’s fountain was fun. The town’s supermarkets and restaurants always seemed to be closed when we needed them... including some at lunchtime.
