Château du Grand Jardin
1 rue de l'Amiral de Villeneuve, 04210 Valensole, France – Great location - show map
We loved our stay at the Chateau. Jacques and his wife were incredibly accommodating and wonderful hosts. They gave us tips on what to do, where to eat, and even some history on the property and the town. We enjoyed ourselves greatly! The breakfast was lovely and served in the formal dining room with other guests. Jacques played his daughter’s CD (professional celloist) while we ate.

I received a warm welcome and the owners were very lovely and kind. They were always happy to help answer any questions and to ensure the stay was comfortable. Excellent traditional french breakfast (petit déjeuner) My room was beautiful. I felt like a princess.

- very friendly staff taking time for you individually to explain the history of the chateau and things you can do in this area - you feel taken back in time due to the interior of the chateau - beautiful garden - there was a very good fan in the room so we were not too warm - the surrounding village is very cute and has a lot of different shops, restaurants and a boulagerie

Everything was absolutely amazing! We particularly enjoyed our spacious suite with its grand Terrasse and amazing views. Beds were super comfortable and breakfast was good. The historical character of the Château is one of a kind and probably the best place we ever stayed in!! Highly recommend!

The setting and gardens are wonderful, the history and the owners knowledge and willingness to share it is brilliant. The breakfast was great

Staying at this place is will be very personal: we loved it! Really enjoyed to be in a place with so much history. The owners are very nice and friendly. They helped us on our stay. You defenetly need a car to get there but it's easy to find. Breakfast was very nice with home made products, a bit too sweet in my opinion.

Unique property with an atmosphere of history. Very warm welcome and an exceptional, home-made breakfast. A short stroll into the village for dinner.

17th century heritage chateau. Work in progress but delightfully atmospheric. The owners have been working on the heritage building for 20 years without detracting from its intrinsic sense of history. Excellent breakfast - real taste of Provence

Everything was fabulous. The perfect chateau in beautiful village. Tres belle🥰🥰🥰🥰

We really loved the chateau experience, even though we've arrived late, owners were very welcoming and showed us around. Chateau itself has a historical link to the niece of Bonapart, and it's full of antique rare furniture, paintings back from old times. We really loved the atmosphere during the breakfast, with the classical music. 100% must visit if you would like to truly experience the Provence!

Château du Grand Jardin has been welcoming Booking.com guests since Dec 30, 2011- Bonjour - I am a writer doing research for a book. Was your chateau at one time owned by the Ponty family? It's part of our story so any information you have would be gratefully received. Best wishes Simon WorrallHi, No bind with the Ponty family. The owners were the family Fresse de Monval and Villeneuve. Sorry. Kind regards. Jacques GloryAnswered on 14 May 2022
Voir photos. Cordialement. Jacques GloryAnswered on 13 May 2022
