BelgiumThe hospitality of Pierre & Marie is above and beyond. Pierre and Marie do everything to create the perfect stay for their guests and make them feel at home: from the cold welcome drinks they served us on their terrace on a hot summer day, to the wonderful breakfast where everything was homemade and they even let us pick our own basil at their vegetable garden to use for a salade that we made for our picknick at their pond. The chateau and its surrounding nature are from a painting, so beautiful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will surely be back. Very much recommended.
IsraelIncredible service from Pierre and Marie at their very charming home. The swimming pond and tennis court were a lovely bonus. Comfortable bed and nice shower too. This was a lovely spot to relax in the French countryside.

Welcome to Castle Preuil, on the border between Berry and Bourbonnais. This house built in 1844 overlooks 51 acres of parkland, meadows and wood. Guests can use the tennis court of the property. Walkways and grass paths invite to walk or cycle around the park and woods.
Pierre & Marie DUCAS devote themselves fully to the property of Preuil and to the well-being of their guests. If you wish they will make you discover some specialities from Berry or from Islands ...
Between Bourges, city of art and history, with Jacques Coeur palace, and Saint-Amand-Montrond, city of gold, with the fortress of Montrond, Preuil is ideally situated for exploring the charms of Berry and Bourbonnais. Berry is one of the oldest agricultural provinces of France prosperous since antiquity. It is a destination for discreet charms with many discovery paths on topics such as the Gallo-Roman antiquity, the Romanesque architecture, forests. Bourbonnais, like Berry, an old historic province, cradle of the Bourbon family appeared in the tenth century at Bourbon l’Archambault. The landscapes of grove and forest, including the beautiful forest of Tronçais, make a typical and preserved land. Aquatic activities are complemented by the Balnéor centre in Saint-Amand-Montrond including several pools training and games. You can also enjoy the activities of the new nautical center on Lake Virlay at Saint-Amand-Montrond or ride at horses and poneys Club Rio Javar 5 km Farges Allichamps. Two karting tracks are available at Colombiers (15 km) and La Châtre (35 km)
