Our stay at Colivault was our favorite during the 15 days we spent in France. Richard was the ideal host; warm and welcoming, friendly, and made us feel like family. The property was a quiet refuge with gardens and terrace where we were served a glass of wine while we relaxed. Going out to dinner, Richard inquired if we'd like a fire when we returned. It was a very chilly night and as we opened the door to our suite, there was a slow burning fire in the fireplace welcoming us. Richard has not missed a detail, from the robes, coffee press, bedside phone charging access, to a lovely decorated and comfortable bedroom and suite. We felt at home at Colivault and wished we'd stayed more than one night.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Richard’s heavenly place, and can’t wait to come back next year. We came with our 5 y old son and he didn’t want to leave. The surrounding is beautiful, a sing to the beauty of nature. Our son loved the pool, the horses, chickens and dogs. Richard is an amazing person who loves making people happy, The house is spacious, spotlessly clean, aesthetically beautifully decorated, The breakfast in a basket to the door every morning is sublime. The location is also perfect, with a boulangerie, epicerie, and supermarket 5 min away by car. 30 min away from Chateau Chambord by car. one of the best vacations we had!
